You can verify the anti-counterfeit code of a snapshot on the Anti-Counterfeit Code Check tab page to determine whether the snapshot is forged.
- The anti-counterfeit code of a snapshot taken by an ITS camera can be verified only on the Anti-Counterfeit Code Check page of the ITS camera. If you verify the anti-counterfeit code of the snapshot on the Anti-Counterfeit Code Check page of other camera models, the verification may fail even if the snapshot is not forged.
- If the snapshot taken by a camera is modified through image editing software, the verification will fail. Therefore, you are advised not to edit snapshots.
- Log in to the camera web system (https://Camera IP address).
- Choose .
- Click the Anti-Counterfeit Code Check tab. The tab page shown in Figure 4-106 is displayed.

- Click Browse, select a local snapshot, and click Upload.
After the snapshot is uploaded, the camera returns the verification result. If the anti-counterfeit code is correct, a message indicating verification success is displayed. If the anti-counterfeit code is incorrect, a message indicating verification failure is displayed.
